PKMetal Around 1999, when I heard Tuatha de Danann's first CD, I knew it was something special. I was already a huge Skyclad fan, of course, but Tuatha were one of the first folk metal bands to add power metal to the mix. Astonishingly, all these years later, they've kept true to a unique signature sound that makes them not only one of the godfathers of the genre but still on top of it in 2023. Favorite track: The Virgin's Tower.

The Nameless 06:57
Oft-times these days I cant sleep 'cause nightmares taunt my mind. I fear we've each been cheated since the birth of humankind. The powerful will fight hard to keep - us- people blind, Ensure we're misdirected; Born to fail, hard we strive. We keep on operating like machines day and night, work dignifies, work dignifies We know to push the button, yet we don’t know why, we do know when, but we don’t know why... How can we accept it, there's venom in our meals, to make a few ones wealthier, let all our people be killed. They crush our future and our heirs, by robbing oil and wood, They say it's about progress, In truth, blood, pain and gloom. It haunts me deeply, day and night, how can we still stand it, to be our tyrant's tools ... And believing it's the only way we have to lead our lives. Hear the cries, the nameless slaves, they cry, Try to hear, the whispers of the kings ... They are carrying THE spoils they plundered and they are marching over those lying prostrate. We slave away each precious day in order to exist. Our leaders preach of Jesus, whilst their tongues like Judas twist. They always take, they never give – And yet like ants we march. Surrounded by plague, lies hunger, resilient the herd still rides. They sell new hates, new lies, new fears - draw tainted History, we, workers, the fools... For it’s time to take a side, to raise our voices, join the tribes. Hear the cries, the nameless slaves, they cry, Try to hear, the whispers of the kings ... They are stealing our time and our lives neither our dead will be safe if they still strike. We keep on operating like machines day and night, work dignifies, work is the end. We know to push the button, yet we don’t know why, we do know when, but we don’t know why... There can be only real justice, when the ones who've fallen and all those deprived, Have their memories and their stories all restored, their turn to rise Hear the cries, the nameless slaves, they cry, Try to hear, the whispers of the kings ... They are stealing our time and our lives neither our dead will be safe if they still strike.

United 05:36
To this world we came weak and fragile, as a breed we were ruined; Fire, floods, plagues, beasts would wipe us off this earth, Had no claws, no fangs nor strength enough to protect our own; But our ancestors chose to join in tribes, And they won. Old and tireless guile, Mislead shunt of doom Feel and hear the wind, the revolution winds, we bring light to those who’re still blind… ‘We cannot stand it for much longer anymore, We need you in once more, united we are strong. Divided we can’t get our pride and our hopes back, It's time to join the tribes, together we will rise.’ There’s no other path to victory, nor to liberty, Other than the union of all human beings. One alone can’t make it, not with any words, Bring it down, the frightful engine, the seeds of tomorrow grows. ‘We cannot stand it for much longer anymore, We need you in once more, united we are strong. Divided we can’t get our pride and our hopes back, It's time to join the tribes, together we shall rise.’

Feeling lonely, confused thoughts in mind, Mixed emotions, pretend I'm relieved, I'm not As the time passes, the wind blows, countless times I've tried... Like a fragile whisper bringing a raging roar. Was really fond of you, when the days were bright... Now I wonder: didn't I read you right? I can't go forward, we go our separate ways. My heart still misses you, my decency repudiates... How can you turn into someone I'd despise? Spitting hatred, prejudice, selfishness, false pride. I was really fond of you, when the times were bright... Now I'm certain I did not read you right... Feeling, Falling, Knowing... Learning, Facing, Struggling... Heading towards fairness Time will fix all damage. I wonder when your mind was made up, dearest you are blind... Sorry, we are not in tune, no, all that is left is to drift apart...

Come, dear, come, Join the horde, take my hand, And free the men... Eyes opened, hear the call, Think for yourself, break the chains... They can’t beat our numbers, We're countless, we're countless... They can’t beat our numbers, We’re countless, You hear our roar… No Lords nor Gods, nor priests, nor masters… We wont stand for such fake messiah! Time to breath new fresh air, Women and men, we've got our share! Hark, do, Hark! The cry of the dregs... Peace among us, war to the lords... They can’t beat our numbers, We're countless, we're countless... They can’t beat our numbers, We’re countless, You hear our roar… No Lords nor gods, nor priests, nor masters… We wont stand for such fake messiah! No kings nor queens, No lords nor masters, We Wont stand for such fake messiah!

Spark 00:37
Show me hunger.Give me pain. I'll not betray a single name! We’re fighters for freedom- Relentless and brave, Someday we may forgive them; But never shall forget!'

Like an ember in the gloom. Glimmers through this direful dark. Hope yet shimmers from my tomb. Summons forth a fiery spark. Hang me high. Watch me fry.Electrocution! Head held down until I drown. My execution! Chains can't bind, open minds. REVOLUTION! Rest assured there will come some retribution! Show me hunger.Give me pain. I'll not betray a single name! We’re fighters for freedom- Relentless and brave, Someday we may forgive them; But never shall forget!' Truth would offer sweet release; Now evil's drill seethes in my teeth. When honesty can quell pain's fires; Courageous are these noble liars! You can... Hang me high.Watch me fry. Electrocution! Head held down until I drown. My execution! Chains can't bind open minds.Revolution! Rest assured there will come some retribution! Show me hunger.Give me pain. I'll not betray a single name! We’re fighters for freedom- Relentless and brave, Someday we may forgive them; But never shall forget!'

Clown 04:22
We prayed for a saviour. Fate gave us a clown; To turn our lives upside down. In short, we all begged for a jig; He taught us the blues. Told us the truth was just fake news. He hides behind a moral speech, misfortune and misery, Like a saint of higher spheres, spewing lies, a morbid creed... God, forgive them . . . Dreadful days to be forgotten We've got a clown instead a messiah, All we've got is disbelief A clown, fake Messiah, Coward, bringer of disease. A shady leader, his lunatic breed, Marching like cartoon zoombies ... Religion, guns, misogyny, all put together... Such a mess, who would believe? Forged a weird reality, riding against decency, Held his folk in unity, through his phone led them like sheep. Broken families... Dreadful days to be forgotten

Revenge 08:10
Can't stand one more sleepless night, we lay in ambush, We strive awaiting for your signs, our Queen Almighty... We've been tortured, we've been murdered, let our weapons do the talk, Taking our homes back and our freedom, push them off. Weaving back the days of old, we shared our forest... We rode the fields we sow and mow, we grow together... They came one day, they took our lands;;; All they brought: pillage and rape... Of hate we breed, we summon you ... REVENGE! In your eyes, we've got the bravery and force to go on( move on)... You, make our victorious dreams become true... No more shame will be tolerated! When we're young, around the fire, we heard your stories, When all alone you faced the empire, you lead the army! You made they cry, made they shiver, they swallow fear and pride, Your strenght is all we need now to go on.... In your eyes, we've got the bravery and force to go on( move on)... You, make our victorious dreams become true... No more shame will be tolerate!
